Briefly describe the health promotion intervention addressing the priority area and the target population /
beneficiaries.?

The Sexual Reproductive Health aims to provide the people of Iloilo Province with opportunities comprehensive
and efficient information, education services and policies. The target audience will be 10-49 years old . This
include for this are the Programs for Adolescent Health, HIV/AIDS, NSMP and Family Planning .

2. What problem is your health promotion intervention trying to address?

 To Raise awareness among adolescents the importance of Sexual Reproductive Health

 Additional Adolescent Health Friendly Facilities @ Rural Health Unit for referral and counselling area.
 Additional Treatment Hubs/Primary Care Facilities and Viral Load machines and Continuous Advocacy
 Address the Increase Maternal Mortality Ratio. 
 To Sustain or increase the Prevalence rate of Family Planning

 Build Healthy Public Policy

The Sexual Reproductive Health Program of the Province of Iloilo had

Ordinances, Policies which supported the gaps that met the needs to be
address such as funds for training, orientation, advoocacy and other. The
Program Coordinator of each program provide Technical assistance, Advocacy
and other provision that included in the Policies at LGU . This Ordinance ,
policies are still in effect and adopt by the Municipalities with the support of
the Technical Working Group composed of different sector in the Society.

 Strengthen Community Action

Iloilo Provincial Health Office HIV /AIDS, Family Planning and

Sexual Reproductive Health are supported by the different Non-
Governmental Organizations (NGOs) / people’s organizations
(POs) and other stakeholders. REACH HEALTH USAID for
FP/Adolescent POPCOM, PPO and HIV/ AIDs Shell Foundation.
The LGU and Barangay also supports this Program thru
Community Engagement.
