INTRODUCTION
Refugees are people who cross the borders of their countries to escape war ,
conflict , persecution and natural disaster. Asylum seekers are people who
leave their homes and go and seek for asylum in other countries { they are
not fully recognized as refugees } . At the end of these presentation you
should be able to achieve the answer to my group’s topic
COUNTRIES WITH THE MOST REFUGEES AND
WHY
Turkey hosts the largest number of refugees with 3.7 million people
followed by Colombia and then the rest you shall see in the table
below. The reason for why this countries host the most amount of
refugees is because of these 4 factors which are {i} armed conflict
{ii} ethnic intolerance {iii} religions fundamentalism {iv} political
tensions . The countries where refugees come from the most are
Afghanistan , Syria , Venezuela and many more .

The countries that have the least amount of asylum seekers are
Liechtenstein with 25 asylum seekers and then next is Estonia
with 70 asylum seekers and the rest is shown in the table below .
By contrast, Poland has only received the equivalent of 0.01 per cent of its
population. With the exception of Bulgaria, all the other Eastern European
EU countries have received less than 0.04 per cent. In Western Europe, it
is Portugal that has received the fewest refugees, at 0.03 per cent .
