Leadership Goals

Bon Bernard P. Acang, EnP

Planning Officer II
City Planning and Development Coordinating Office
Leadership goals are important
because they help leaders
decide what their priorities should
be. When you create goals with
your team in mind, you can work
toward being a more efficient and
effective leader.

4. Find efficient
processes
1. Become a Better Mentor

As a leader, your team will

look to you for coaching,
advice and guidance.
Make effective mentorship
a priority when setting
your goals to help your
team grow in both their
roles and as individuals
2. Develop Listening Skills

An effective leader can both guide their team and listen to their input.
When listening to your team, you may find they have ideas you wouldn't
have thought of. People appreciate when their ideas are heard, so make
active listening a priority.
3. Show Confidence

Leaders who are more

confident tend to get
more respect from
others
4. Find Efficient Processes

Think of new ways your team can

get more work done with less time
and effort. Work with them to
develop more efficient systems and
processes.
5. Accept Responsibilities

A decision you make may not go as planned. In these situations, it's

important to accept the consequences and learn from them. Make it
your goal to accept your responsibilities as a leader and find solutions
for unexpected challenges in the workplace.
Thank You.
