✖ F: what interests you to study in industrial engineering. and what will you do after
graduating from that field?

✖ K : The reason I chose industrial engineering is that I want to become an expert in

the industry in the future, especially to build industrial activities in my area, after
graduating I plan to continue my study to take an expert in management. How
about you?

✖ F : if my reason was suggested by my family, after I searched more about industrial

engineering on google, then I was interested to enter there. and my goal or what I
want to do after graduation is to become an entrepreneur. Moreover, there are
rumors that the capital city will be moved to Kalimantan, therefore the
employment rate in Kalimantan will also be abundant. After knowing the rumors,
what do you think about the industry in Kalimantan in the future?

✖ K : my opinion about industrial activities in my area is still lagging, the situation

needs to be improved with people according to their fields with the opportunity
to study in industrial engineering I hope to improve the work system in a local
factory so that it can help increase productivity for a company business besides
that I also think the world industry will always progress what we need to do is to
be ready to take opportunities in the future, after studying industrial engineering
what do you understand about an industrial engineering degree ?

✖ F : What I have understood after studying majoring in industrial
engineering is to learn how to manage a factory so that it can operate
productively, effectively and efficiently. An industrial engineering
graduate is required not only to master the engineering field, but also
in terms of management and marketing. It is on the shoulders of
industrial engineering graduates that the operations of a factory are
located. In a factory, many components are involved, starting from
managing human resources, raw materials, electrical power
requirements, chemical processing, building management, to
determining the selling price of products in order to compete in the
market. If in the future you enter the industry, what type of work will
you take? and what do you understand about it?

✖ K : Talking about the prospects of course in the future along with the
development of global industry, a person with industrial engineering expertise
will be needed either as a management expert to analyze the productivity of
a job, an industrial engineering graduate can also join an industrial chemical
company which of course serves as a reviewer. production schedules,
determine specifications, determine process flows, and other information on
ongoing activities in the manufacturing and services sector, besides that
industrial engineering can also be a Supply Chain Management Consultant
working to help companies improve supply chains in terms of cost, reliability,
efficiency, agility , and toughness
