RULES
1. Each of the performance will be evaluated on the
basis of the following criteria:

i. Introduction

ii. Knowledge: which includes : Organization, Balance,


Development of material, Major points, Transition.

iii. Language: which includes : Structure, Organization,


Support Material, Grammar, Pronunciation,
Vocabulary.

vi. Relevance & Explanation: which includes : Exposition


of the main theme, Relevance to topic, Logic,
Originality, Accuracy, Anecdotes, Illustrations.
 
v. Delivery: Appearance, Poise, Self-confidence, Style,
Voice modulation, Facial expression, Eye-contact,
Enthusiasm, Effectiveness
 
vi. Overall Presentation.
 
Introduction carries 5 marks and each of the remaining
five criterion carries 10 marks.
 
• Each speaker will be given 04 minutes to deliver his
speech. A warning bell will be sounded after 03
minutes and the participants are requested to sum
up within the next 01 minute.

• Any representation with respect to the conduct of


the event may be forwarded to the Principal sir
through IC Event within two hrs from the
culmination of the event. The final results will be
published in the School Part I order, only after
Principal sir's examination of the merits of the
written representation, if any.
