Online shopping is a form of electronic
commerce which allows consumers to directly buy
goods or services from a seller over the

enable shoppers to use "search" features to find
specific models, brands or items.

people would prefer shopping clothes online for it
is affordable than the clothes at the malls. And
sometimes students or millennials rather prefer

The respondents of our study is the Grade 11 ABM students of SFAC. They can be
described of classified through their gender and experiences about online shopping
fraud. The possible outcomes may be knowing what are the legit and fake websites of
online shopping. The process are using simple survey questionnaires for students and
interviews from the victims of online shopping frauds or scams. The output or the
resultmay be the ways of preventing online shopping frauds and determining different
ways of shopping fraud.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
The study “Legalized Transactions in preventing online shopping frauds involving grade 11 ABM Students
of SFAC” is all about preventing frauds and scams. Online shopping frauds/scams has been a problem for
grade 11 students. Many became victims of online shopping fraud. It attempts to find causes and
evidences, more specifically it answers the following questions:

The researchers used qualitative type of research with this topic,
“Legalized Transactions in Preventing Online Shopping Frauds
involving Grade 11 ABM students of Saint Francis of Assisi College.
Qualitative research is defined to get data or information by asking
the respondents opinions or feelings toward an issue or topic, it is
used to get a reason or insights to a problem to develop a new
information or understanding. The researchers aim to determine the
legalized transactions to prevent the online shopping frauds and
scams. The researchers used qualitative research in this case, it is
more appropriate on understanding the subjects of research, for it
deals with the opinions, experiences and emotions towards online
scams.

RESEARCH LOCALE
The researchers have chosen grade 11 ABM students of
Saint Francis of Assisi College for the reason that this
school is more convenient for the researchers and also
that this school is offering ABM track for senior high
school. Saint Francis of Assisi College is located at the
045 Admiral, Las Pinas, 1740 South Metro Manila. It is
near in Robbinsons Place Las Pinas and the landmarks
are the Hello Ki-Tea Café and the Hao-Cha stall, Saint
Francis is in between of those two shops.
The researchers chose Grade 11 ABM students of Saint
Francis of Asisi College, both female and male, aging 16
to 18 years old to get enough information to the said
topic. The participants are all teenage students that is in
the said school. The researchers have interviewed the
students to conduct a study.

DATAGATHERING INSTRUMENT
The researchers used interview protocol to know and
understand the results of the study. Here are the questions for
the interview.

2. Are you in favor of Online shopping? Why or Why

DATA GATHERING PROCEDURE
The researchers started their study by knowing the
possible questions that one may ask about their topic. So,
the researchers formulated their questions and identified
who will be their respondents to their matter. The
researchers have chosen people that are qualified to their
study. They conducted interview to each respondents to
gain information and to know the result of how to prevent
online frauds and scams. After the researchers gained
what they sought, they were able to conclude why things
happen in their chosen topic.
