Course Overview
Description:
This course discusses the history of photography, and how the
innovation of
photography progresses through time. Also, this course allows
students to understand the role
of Photography plays in commercialism, documentation, activism and
social movements. It
also presents the aesthetic prinples and technical aspects of digital
photography (e.g. camera,
composition, lighting) which aim to develop quality pixel-base
photography. It introduces
students to creative and efficient uses of current tools and
technologies such as digital
darkroom computer programs to enhance images for various
multimedia applications.
