How to Log in a CAWI Account

1. Go to https://cbms.psa.gov.ph/
About the CBMS Management Information System 2


2. Click PROCEED TO QUESTIONNAIRE


3. Click the Username field and enter your username.
Username - Email address used to register a CAWI account.


4. Click the Password field and enter your password.
Password - System generated temporary password sent via SMS.


5. Click Submit.

1. Hide side bar - This button hides the side bar to widen the questionnaire view.

3 2. Respondent - This part displays the name of the barangay.
3. CBMS logo - This is the official logo of the Philippine Statistics Authority
Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS)
4. Questionnaire Sections - These are the sections of the BPQ. Click each section to
4 view the sub-items.
5. Add Notes - This button will show a window that will allow the respondents to add
notes. Users can write any important notes which can help in the validation of the
entries in the questionnaire.
6. View Notes - This button will display all the notes made by the user.

6 7. User Manual - This button will open a pdf file containing the instructions in
7 accomplishing the BPQ and instructions in using the 2022 CBMS CAWI application.
8. Review Answer - This button is for checking and reviewing the answers in the BPQ.
8 9. Logout - This is the logout button.

Auto Saving
• This feature is triggered when the user

toggles between Section. (See picture below.)
The system will autosave all the data entered
in the previous section when the user goes to
another section.
• The user can also trigger the save function by

pressing CTRL+S.

Auto Loading of Previously Saved Data
• After the user saves the data, the user can access the saved data
even after logging out/switching to another computer. The system will
auto-load all the data from the last data entry session.

Multiple Login Instances

• Users are allowed to login to one/single account at the same time in
multiple devices.
An acceptable scenario or example:

Note: Please do not answer the same section when using different devices (i.e., Section 1 in both
computer and tablet).This may cause inconsistency on the data that can be saved in the system.

Accessible application anytime
• Users are allowed to access the CBMS BPQ CAWI system anytime as
long as they are connected to the internet, and they have the
authorized log-in credentials.

Adding and Viewing of Notes
• Users can also add notes by clicking on

the “Add Notes” button on the lower left
part of the questionnaire.
• Users can also view added notes by

clicking on the “View Notes” button on the
lower left part of the questionnaire.
Review Answer
• Users can also validate the answers by

clicking on the “Review Answer” button
on the lower left part of the questionnaire.

• A dialogue box with four tabs will appear. Each tab contains the
unanswered items per section. Address all items in the list by clicking
on the X mark adjacent to each item.

• Upon clicking the X mark, you will be redirected to that specific item
inside the questionnaire.
Chat
• The users can use this feature to
communicate with the staff-in-charge of
the CBMS within the PSA, if they have
questions or other inquiries.
• The chat icon is located on the lower left
part of the webpage.
• Provide your name, barangay and
city/municipality, so that the staff can
address you properly.
• Indicate your query/concern/question.
Changing of Password
• Users who forgot the password of their
account can click on the “Forgot
Password?” button to receive a
temporary password.
