THE LAKE IS SHALLOW, ESPECIALLY
IN THE COASTAL PART, WITH AN
AVERAGE DEPTH OF ABOUT 9 M;
MAXIMUM DEPTH 31 M.

fourth largest natural lake in England.
Derwent Water

A lake in the county of Cumbria in the northwest of England.


The lake is located in the Lake District National Park (Lake
District) south of the city of Kezik, in the Cumberland
Mountains.

Derwent Water is the third largest lake in Cumbria and also the
third largest natural lake in England.
