Rationale
Parent-teacher collaboration is not a new term. However, Hybrid
learning: from home using virtual classrooms or asynchronous classes and
face-to-face discussions are becoming increasingly familiar, but it does not
mean that the approach is simple. However, with the support of good
parent-teacher collaboration, overcoming challenges that come with the
rapid shift of adapting to these learning modes can be as easy as ABC.
With many parents working and struggling with their busy schedules, this
project will be at ease that the parents be able to collaborate with the
school. As such, the proponents try to seek effective ways or strategies that
can be done to increase awareness and improve interactive relationships
among students, parents, and teachers.
Communication and trust are the keys to promoting the
success of students. However, the ability to connect with
parents continues to be a challenge for many teachers.
Fortunately, Project PARENTS is a way to create
meaningful parent-teacher relationships. This project will
help establish an open line of communication between the
two parties, keeping parents informed of their children's
performances and upcoming events and programs at the
school and keeping the teachers updated with the
accomplishments of their students.
Google Site is a webpage
creation tool as part of
Google's free, web-based
Google Docs Editors Suite.
While GroupMe is
like a private
chatroom for small
groups, which can be
used to coordinate
with people by
sharing photos,
videos, and messages.
These two platforms can be a
great source of communication
between parents and teachers.
Through these platforms,
nurturing the home-school
connection will be improved.
Objectives

This study aims to broaden the relationship
between the parents and teachers to nurture the home-
school connection to cultivate students' academic
performance, work habits, social interactions, and
emotional well-being.

Implementation Plan

It is important for parents to be aware on the status of

their children in school. Parents and teachers can help
alleviate the academic difficulties their students have
by maintaining open lines of communication and
cooperating with one another. By working together,
they can deepen their understanding of what the
students need to improve when it comes to their
academic performance.
Find out what tasks need to be completed
once the project is finished. Beginning with
the project's goals can help the planning
process take shape more effectively.
Proper implementation can be started—plan the
initial meeting where the data can be collected, set
schedules for posting details, and select materials to
be posted. At this stage, the planning should contain
a list of potential strategies for how the project's
timetable and members will work out.
Brainstormed various risk scenarios. Identify
problems and distinguish possible developments
while working on the project. Utilizing a risk log
is an excellent method for plotting out potential
dangers. Utilizing a tool like the SWOT analysis
will assist in determining the potential threats
associated with the project and, at the same time,
prepare solutions accordingly. If these threats are
determined immediately, problems can be avoided,
especially during the implementation plan phase; with
this, the researchers may change and revise the initial
plans.
The planning process must begin with
the scheduling of the project's targets,
also known as phases. These phases
monitor the progress while the project
is being carried out. Utilize a Gantt
chart to help visualize the project's
milestones and ensure that the entire
plan stays on schedule. Clearly lay out
the implementation timeline using a
Gantt chart and demonstrate how long
each activity will take to complete.
Every action plan needs to include a list of tasks,
along with the members of the team who will be
responsible for completing those responsibilities.
This will have a better ability to evaluate the
performance of each member of the team as well
as keep closer tabs on the overall progress.
Clarifying roles and duties can be made easier
with the help of an efficient tool for project
management called a RACI chart. Identifying
the responsible, accountable, consulted, and
informed is firmly determined.
Assess the project's success and better
understand how effectively it meets the
objective. After this stage, the
researchers may determine what
aspects of a program or action are
successful and what aspects have room
for improvement.
