we'll take a closer look at construction manager positions and how to get the
required qualifications

Health and Safety Executive data. Slips, trips and falls account for 26% of his
injuries Handling, lifting and carrying injuries account for 19% of his injuries.
Falling from a height of 19%, 12% hit by moving/falling objects. Falls from

construction industry, accounting for half of all fatalities on construction

Responsibilities of a Site Manager
A site manager's responsibilities vary depending on the details of the
organization and the projects they are working on. To reflect these changes,
this role is sometimes referred to as Project Manager or Site Manager. Site
administrators are responsible for overseeing on-site operational
management. This starts with ensuring that tasks are completed on time,
within budget, and meet the required quality standards. You will be heavily
involved in project planning and preparation, working on blueprints and site
reports before and during the construction process.
Construction Site Manager Training
There are couple of key piece of evidence that most organizations require
from site Managers:
1. IOSH SHE for Construction Site Manager
2. IOSH Managing Safely
These qualifications are not required by law, but most construction
companies require that those working in these senior positions have at least
one, if not both, in their name. Both qualifications demonstrate advanced
knowledge and experience working in the field as a manager.
