application letter for a specific job
What is a job application letter?

◦ A digital document
◦ It shows If you are qualified for the job position,
◦ It shows If you should be selected for the job
◦ It is a “carta de presentación” that you send before any preview
interview
The parts of an application letter
◦ Heading
◦ Salutation
◦ Body (3 paragraphs)
◦ Complimentary Close
◦ Signature

◦ Sell your self: Include your skills and achievements.

For example:
◦ do you speak any language besides Spanish ?/ do you have some degree or
qualification, certification?/have you worked in the same fields o some similar job?
◦ Keep in mind what do you want to share but keep it simple.
