Curriculum describes a standardized plan of study for
a particular subject and/or grade. The "curriculum" for
a course provides a formal overview of both the
learning expectations, as well as how to assess a
student to determine if they have successfully met the
expectations. Curriculum documents are starting
points from which educators build their plans for
instruction and assessment.
Implemented Curriculum

refers to the various learning activities or


experiences of the students in order to
achieve the intended curricular outcomes
What is achieved curriculum?

 refers to the curriculum outcomes based on the first


two types of curriculum, the intended and the
implemented. The achieved curriculum is now
considered the product. It can be the learning
outcomes, or a material product itself, like book,
module or instructional material.

goals for all subjects. It also develops international
mindedness and encourages personal learning.
