INCOME
DISTRIBUTION
OBJECTIVE
S
These were the objectives for the Poverty and Income distribution which
were as follows;

o To define the meaning of Poverty and Income distribution in the

Philippines.
o To determine the causes of poverty and income distribution.
o To explain the effects of poverty and income distribution

INTRODUCT
ION
Poverty is defined as a lack of material, social, and emotional
resources. It is a situation in which a family's basic needs, such
as food, shelter, clothing, and education, are not met.

One of the most common problems that people face around

the world is the inverse relationship between poverty and
income. The majority of countries affected by this issue are
developing and low-income countries, such as the Philippines.

When a person is unemployed, he is unable to provide

sufficient and healthy food for his family, and their health
suffers. We might conclude that poverty is the basis of all other
issues.

don't have enough money to support yourself and your family. Poverty in the Philippines has primarily arisen as a
result of the country's rapid population growth. Due to financial difficulties, many Filipinos are unable to finish their

CONCLUSION
Poverty is one of the most important crises facing the world, and it is only getting worse. It
happens when you don't have enough money to support yourself and your family. Poverty in the
Philippines has primarily arisen because of the country's rapid population growth, lack of
education and lack of employment. As a result, malnutrition, crime and homelessness will
happen.

On the other hand, the income distribution in the Philippines is highly unequal. The performance
in labor productivity contrasts with the fact that the market has been endowed with highly
educated labor.
Moreover, unequal income distribution and sustain needs also affects on the income and work
here in the Philippines. This indicates that those with higher education have crowded out the less
educated in terms of job opportunities.
RECOMMENDATIO

 Governments must offer and create more employment opportunities to reduce the
number of unemployment rate because it is one of the reasons behind growth
poverty.
 Greater Access to Education, As the old cliché goes-Education is the key to
success. Once a Filipino is educated, he can contribute a lot in attaining
improvement for our country.
 Should empowering all people in living in poverty through involving them in the
improvement and implementation of plans and programs to decrease and
eradicate poverty.
 Family Planning, which can control population growth and ensure people to have
enough resources.
 Increase the minimum wage of workers to improve people's income.
