Placement

Placement is the determination of the job to which an accepted candidate is to be


assigned. It is matching of what the supervisor has reasons to think he/she can do
with the job demands (job requirements), it is matching of what he/she imposes
(in strain working conditions) and what he/she offers in the form of payroll,
companionship with others, promotional possibilities and so on.

Induction is a part of the socialisation process and leads to integration of the
new hire into the organisation.

Meaning
Socialisation is a long process and enables the new hire to

and so on.
