• When oppo was launched at that having a good selfi camera was a big
thing and oppo found their market in that and made smartphone with
good selfi camera
• The market was not needing a smartphone but they generated the
demand of selfi camera phone.

• In earlier days oppo was marketing their smartphones as “selfi expert”smartphone
even the retail store sellers will tell you to buy the phone just because it has good

• But later they realise that only selfi camera wont work so they started giving good
back camera too with good pictures in low and night light.

customer.

• When apple launched the notch disply with Iphone X series it
suddnely became a trend and oppo saw an opportunity in that and
launched their smartphones with notch this shows that they are risk
takers
• They were one of the very few early adopters of notch display and
soon after launching notch disply they stared experimenting with that
notch too and introduced diffrent types of notch display , slider
camera to give full disply,and now they are even working on to make
indisply front camera this shows that they are ready to change and
knows the trends

• Oppo knew their target market is youngsters who wants good camera
phone in perticuler good selfi camera phone so they provided them
that.
• After that fast chargers came into trends and right now they have
announced 150w and 240w chargers.
• Oppo also produces earphones ,TWS ,smart watches to compete with
other brads who are also doing the same.

• Camera is the USP of Oppo they provide good camera in particuler selfi
camera even in low and mid range smartphones.
• Oppo knew the need of camera centric phones in the market and the
audience for the same so they got their targeted audience at the correct time.
• They were one of the first brands who came up with good night camera
phones.
• Focus on trendy technologies like notch disply , sliding disply , sliding camera
etc.
• Design is also one of the major factor behind the success of oppo trendy
designes.
