WHAT IS STRESS
Stress is a natural natural part of life .Every one
experience stress,and everyone is afected by stress
in different ways.It is important to know how to
manage stress.When you do not know how to
manageyour own stress,your face consequences like
anxiety ,depression and  sleep issues.The first step
to learning your own stress is to understand how
your stress affects you.
A moderate amount of stress is healthy
and can fuel productivity.
Too much stress and poor stress
management skills can cause significant
consequence on a person's mental
healt,physical health,relationships and
overall mood.It is important to understand
how stress affects you in preperation for
developing healthy stress management skills.
TIPS FOR REDUCING OR
CONTOLING STRESS
If you are feeling stressed ,there are
steps you can take to feel better.As you
read the following
suggestions ,remember that
conquering,stress will not come from a
half-hearted effort,nor will it come
covernight
It will take determination,persistance
and time.Some suggestions may help
immediately,but if your stress level
doesn't seem to improve ,it may
require more attention and lifestyle
changes.
BE REALISTIC-If you feel over
whelmed by some activities(yours and\
or your family's),learn to say NO!
Eliminate an activity that is not
absolutely nescessary.
Shed the"superman/superwoman"urge. No
oneis perfect,so don't expect perfection
from yourselfand other
Meditate-Just ten to twenty minuites of
quiet reflection may bring relief from
chronic stress as well increase
tolerance to it.
Visualize-Use your imagination and
picture how you can manage a
stressful situation more successfully.
Take one thing at a time-For peaple
under tension or stress,their day-to-day
workload can sometimes seem
unbearable.
