PROBLEM STATEMENT
The rural engineers face a lot of difficulties collecting the data manually, the frequency of
the data collection is very low.
Therefore, the road survey data of rural roads is sparsely available.
The need of partial automation is the aim of this project that should be accessible and
affordable for any rural engineers.
The Distresses ,such as potholes, rutting, shoveling, raveling, severe cracks etc. for flexible
pavements; and punch outs, joint widening, settlements cracks and corner cracks for rigid
pavements, which include depth component are particularly more difficult to measure
manually
