Introduction
• lean manufacturing refer to the use of systematic methods to reduce
costs by eliminating wastes and non value-added activities, while
delivering what the customer wants, on time

• In recent years, many companies have established a fundamental goal

to minimize the environmental impact while maintaining high quality
and service for all business processes and products. This is commonly
referred to as sustainability or green manufacturing.
Objectives
• To meet customer demand on time by
eliminating non-value-added work from the
process.

• To minimize the work in process inventory.

• To reduce rework percentage.

• To create flexibility of style changeover.

• To create a pool of multi-skilled operators

who can respond quickly for changing style.
Literature Review

Conclusion
Implementing Lean management in an organization is a concept that is
designed to support the concept of continuous improvement in a
manufacturing and support organization.Using this approach will
systematically seek to achieve small and incremental changes in
processes in order to improve efficiency and quality. Lean principles
will continue to be used to reduce waste and improve processes. The
Lean management process when used correctly seek to eliminate any
form of waste in reference to time, effort or money by identifying each
step in the business process and revising steps that does not create value
