-Is a set of abilities that enables


an individual to recognize when
information is needed, locate,
evaluate; use effectively the
needed information.
INFORMATION
• Is the data that has been collected, processed, and
interpreted In order to be presented in a usable form. In
media world, information is often used to describe knowledge
of specific events or situations that has been gathered or
received by communication, intelligence or news reports.

LITERACY
Is understanding of a specific subject

that create the least impact on the
receiver.

Types of Plagiarism

COMPLETE PLAGIARISM

 When someone, take the whole study or manuscript that


someone else created, and submit it under her/his name.

SOURCE BASED PLAGIARISM

If someone cite a source but it is incorrect or


doesn’t exist, it is misleading citation.

DIRECT PLAGIARISM

 When someone, copy the work of another person, word by word


without the use of quotation mark and attribution.

PARAPHRASING PLAGIARISM

Made minor changes but the idea is the same


then submit it under his name.

MOSAIC PLAGIARISM
 Mosaic Plagiarism occurs when a student borrows phrases from a source
without using quotation marks, or finds synonyms for the author's
language while keeping to the same general structure and meaning of
the original.
ACCIDENTAL PLAGIARISM
Unintentional plagiarism, or the misuse of sources, is the
accidental appropriation of the ideas and materials of others
due to a lack of understanding of the conventions of citation
and documentation.
