Assignment – Board Game on

The MOOON Basic Physics and Astronomy.

SET UP

AGE= __+__ = Even / Odd Toss a Coin = Head( Even) / Tail (Odd) Better luck next time!!!

Roll a Die = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 θ = 30°, 45°, 60°, 15°, 22.5° , g = 10

1. Participants should add their age number

2. If It comes Even then roll a die and get the value from 1 to 6 /
Otherwise (getting Odd) toss a coin and get a head (Even) then
follow the die roll and proceed if again tail (odd) comes then player
will lose the current chance wait for next turn.
Range = [{V^2 * Sin(2*θ)} / g] = 0.05 to 3.6 3. after getting 1 to 6 value put that in the Projectile range formula
to get the range,
4. Before rolling a die opponent player must choose the angle given
from the chart and one of the distance range given in the boxes.
5. If the player get the exact value of range as opponent
chosen then game of preceding will start otherwise wait for
0-1.0
1.0- 2.0- 2.8-

next turn to again roll a die.
6. As any player who won the projectile part has freedom to roll a die in
2.0 2.8 3.6
his/her turn and go forward in the game board and do the further tasks as
given in the boxes in the board.
PREPARATION

The game consists of a 1 board, 1 dice, 1 coin and 6 pawns.

Place the board on a table and put the pawns on start box.
Each player choose one pawn to represent him/her while travelling on the board.

HOW TO PLAY

All players place their pawn on the space marked " Start!". Then follow the rule
given in 1st page.
While playing the pawns remain on the spaces occupied and proceed from that
point on the player's next turn. Two or more pawns may rest on the same
space at the same time.
TASKS

This task has a picture of different people who contributed to the development of physics
and astronomy. Player need to guess who this person is.

Basic questions on physics and astronomy.

Questions related to physics and astronomy concepts. This task has a clue to help players.
RULES
Depending on the to space your pawns reach , you may be entitled to take a task and answer the question .
In the game path , there are empty spaces which you don't have to do anything and spaces that contains are
short description of the issues that scientists face when performing research in outer space .

These descriptions are followed by a reward or penalty movement ( e.g. go ahead , go back , miss a turn or
take an extra turn ) . Note that , if a player lands in one of these spaces , you have to read the full description
of the space for the other players .

If you land in space with the symbols " ?? " or " Challenge " , ask another player to take a task question and
read it to you . You have to answer the question . Explain your answer to the other players and they will
decide whether your answer is correct based on the solution given in a answer chart.
If you roll number six , move your pawn and act on the space you have landed on as usual . After that , roll the
dice again and have another turn .

Players are subject to privileges or penalties .

If you answer your question correctly , you can have just one more go . In the second go , you have to follow
what is written in the space which could be one of the task sign or a move forward / back instruction . If you
answer incorrectly or does not know the answer , you have to move back two spaces .
The winner of the game is the first person to reach the finish point .
