Indomie is a very popular brand of instant noodle products in

I n d o n e s i a . I n d o m i e i s p r o d u c e d b y P T. I n d o f o o d C B P S u k s e s M a k m u r
Tbk. The most successful product from the company owned by Sudono
Salim was launched to the market since 1982. Apart from being
marketed in Indonesia, Indomie is also widely marketed in foreign
countries, including in the United States. Australia, various Asian and
African countries as well as European countries, make Indomie one of
the few original Indonesian products that are able to penetrate the
international market. In Indonesia itself, the term "Indomie" is
common. used as a generic term that refers to instant noodles.

- the type of innovation is incremental innovation. indomie

always releasing new flavored products that has influence
towards indonesians traditional foods. Indomie does this to
match its products with the taste of Indonesians.

are provided through this
innovation
The solution to the problem given through this innovation is to
c r e a t e n e w a n d d i f f e r e n t p r o d u c t s f r o m c o m p e t i t o r s . P r e v i o u s l y,
the problem with Indomie was that there were many competitors
for fellow noodle products who made new flavors of their
products. So Indomie made a solution by making new flavors in
its products according to the tastes of the Indonesian people.
Like the rendang flavored Indomie product that adapts to the
tastes of the Minang people. then what is currently trending is
that many teenagers like geprek chicken, so Indomie makes an
i n n o v a t i o n b y c r e a t i n g t h e i n d o m i e H y p e A b i s f l a v o r, t h e G e p r e k
c h i c k e n f l a v o r, t h a t a d a p t s t o t h e i r t a s t e s .
