• Collect and handle online process data

• Save data into a database (measurements, calculated values)
• Monitor power plant process online, e.g.
– actual thermal performance
– device and plant level performance compared to targets
– mechanical, environmental and various other calculations
(Heat rate)
• Illustrate information in a user-friendly and efficient way using
live process displays, charts, trends and reports
• Transfer information to/from other systems

TOPi functions are based on Fortum’s own expertise of power

plants and power plant O&M functions.
