Specialty Guidelines for Forensic Psychology
When determining fees forensic practitioners may consider salient factors such
as their experience providing the service, the time and labor required, the
novelty and difficulty of the questions involved, the skill required to perform
the service, the fee customarily charged for similar forensic services, the
likelihood that the acceptance of the particular employment will preclude other
employment, the time limitations imposed by the client or circumstances, the
nature and length of the professional relationship with the client, the client’s
ability to pay for the service, and any legal requirements.
