OBJECTIVES

APPLICATION
1. Quick and simple technique for the physicians.
2. Major complexity should be avoided because it will take less
time.
3. Useful to veterinarians to evaluate animals to immediately spot
a bone fracture.
4. Saving money, time & health.

METHODOLOGY
Bone fracture detection system the system was built in MATLAB.
There is mainly the use of edge detection techniques to process the
entered image. The line is detected by Probabilistic Hough
function. The lines are given in the form of points (x, y) which
includes the starting and ending point. This process can be divided
into five parts [1].

LITERATURE REVIEW
Summary:
The purpose of this study is to develop a machine that uses image
processing and is completely efficient for a quick, inexpensive,
and accurate diagnosis of bone fractures based on information
from X-rays and CT scans. In fact, it is a method for precursory
bone break detection.

LITERATURE REVIEW
Drawbacks:
● The central bone fracture cannot be detected since the MATLAB
employes the edge detection approach to discover fractures [2].
●Lack of proper image enhancement is very tough to detect bone
fracture.
8
LITERATURE REVIEW
New Innovation:
● To use the techniques of sophisticated edge detection and bel
detector to detect bone fractures in the centre of the bone [2].
● To detect the crack and fracture more precisely and accurately.
