CLOUD RELAXATION
Relaxation activity for a feeling of calm in the body.

Step 1: I am inviting everyone to please sit
properly - in your most comfortable seating
position.

Step 2: Breathe gently, relaxing your chest


and shoulders as you do so, and noticing how
your stomachs expand when you inhale and
contract as you exhale;
PUT YOUR HANDS IN YOUR BELLIES TO
CHECK IF YOU ARE BREATHING CORRECTLY.

Note: The teacher reads the script in a


soothing, soft tone, giving instructions gently
and slowly, to encourage relaxation. The
teacher needs to keep her eyes open.

Learners are invited to
reflect on how feelings
2 TIME: 60 MINUTES can exist simultaneously
and deepen their self-
awareness
3 YOU WILL NEED: PAPER,
CRAYONS AND/OR
PENTEL PEN
STEP 1:
Take a sheet of paper
and divide it in half.
STEP 2:
On the left side, write
down all the feelings
you feel in the moment
and assign a color for
each corresponding
feeling.
STEP 3:
On the right side draw a circle.
Then, divide it according to how
strongly you feel each feeling you
identified on the left side. You
may assign percentages if you
like or use other symbols or
shapes in addition to color to
express your feeling.
STEP 4:
Share your feelings circle with
your classmate. There’s no right
or wrong, and you can share
only what you want to share. If
you don’t feel like sharing, you
can talk about what creating the
circle was like for you.

order to deal with them.
Sharing our story with a trusted friend or adult, singing a song,
taking a walk, taking a nap, exercising, are among many ways
to help US feel better about difficult feelings. IT IS IMPORTANT
TO SHARE THE MORE UPLIFTING FEELINGS AS WELL; IT’S ONE
WAY TO SUPPORT OTHERS AND BUILD FRIENDSHIPS.
