MUST !
1. HOW do you use MUST in English?

As a Modal and Auxiliary Verb

It changes or affects other verbs in a sentence, and in affirmative ones it is used when it represents an

OBLIGATION, OR that you HAVE TO do something, OR you NEED TO do something.

5
In negative sentences it is used to represent something that IS PROHIBITED.

Must act as an auxiliary verb (as all modal verbs) and, for this reason, accompanies and

influences the meaning of a main verb.

6
2. WHEN do you use MUST in English?

It is used in affirmative, negative, and interrogative sentences – and because it doesn’t have infinitive form –
“Must” is applied just in the Present tense.

However for the Past and Future tenses form it has just to be used “HAVE TO” to represent “MUST”.
