“I have / I have got” – O que é?
“I have” e “I have got” serve para indicar posse de alguma coisa. Ambas formas
tem o mesmo significado. Por exemplo:
• I have got blue eyes / I have blue eyes. (Eu tenho olhos azuis).
• Tim has got two sisters / Tim has two sisters (Tim tem duas irmãs).
• They like animals. They have got a horse, three dogs and six cats. (Eles
gostam de animais. Eles tem um cavalo, três cachorros e seis gatos).
• Our car has got four doors. (Nosso carro tem quatro portas).
• Diane isn’t feeling well. She’s got a headache. (Diane não está bem. Ela está
com dor de cabeça).
Como que usa com os sujeitos?
• I have – I have got (I’ve got).
• We have – We have got (we’ve got).
• You have – You have got (You’ve got).
• They have – They have got (They’ve got).
• Have I got...?
• Have we got...?
• Have you got...?
• Has he got...?
• Has she got...?
• Has it got...?
• They don’t have any children = They haven’t got any children.
• It’s a nice house but it doesn’t have a garden. = it hasn’t got a garden.
• Does Ann have a car? = Has Ann got a car?
• How much money do you have? = How much money have you got?
