Traditions and lifestyle • Most live in nomadic societies. • Invented the “boomerang” and “woomera” for hunting purposes. • Invented a musical instrument called the “didgeridoo”. • “Dreaming” helps explain the Aboriginal way of life and their world around them. • Aboriginal body painting is an ancient tradition which carries deep spiritual significance for the Australian indigenous people.
