ASSIGNMENT
This week we’ll be working
on an activity in which you’ll
draw a sport, activity, game,
or something you enjoy!
Starting Off…
• You will draw an activity that you are interested in!
• I know this sounds like a lot, but it’s only one activity!
Not multiple!
• Things like sports, video games, reading, drawing,
writing, school, anything that you are interested in!
• Lets get some more information first though!

The idea of Color
Theory!
• The idea of color theory is that opposite colors
will smoothly look good together! Look at
Purple and Yellow for example, they’re directly
across from each other! These colors will
oftentimes look good together when put together!
But there’s a lot more to this idea!

More Info
• This makes you all look at your
drawing differently and see how
random colors can or can’t work
together nicely!
• For example the pictures on the left,
they use many different colors, but
altogether look and blend together
nicely!

RULES/RESTRICTIONS
Because you can’t do just anything!
What’s Expected!!
What to do!
• You are to choose ONE activity that you
are interested in!
• You are to try and draw yourself or
someone/something doing said activity!
• If you wanted it could be a cat, or a
bear, or a beach ball playing on a
Nintendo Switch!
• However, there’s a twist!
The Twist!
• You are to draw it with pencil then color
it…
• However, the colors you use are
supposed to be random!
• You will draw at first with just pencil!
• Once you have your drawing done in
black and white, you will then come up
to me!

• Did you color them with your three colors only? -10
• Name/Date/Period -10
• Always remember to put this on all your drawings! Whether it be on the
bottom right, left, or back!
