of two or more words.

MAIN CLAUSE AND SUBORDINATE CLAUSE
CLAUSE
Clause is a group of word that contain a subject and a verb.
It has a complete meaning by itself.
For e.g..: He plays tennis regularly
A clause can be of two types:
a) Main clause b) Subordinate clause

MAINCLAUSE SUBORDINATE CLAUSE


• It contains a subject and a verb
• It contains subject and a verb
• It doe snot make a complete sense
• It makes complete sense of its own • It depends on the main clause
• e.g.: you may eat • e.g.: whichever you like (does not make a complete sense)

Using Punctuation
Apostrophes POSSESSION
 SINGULAR NOUN : by adding
