what is safety?
• Safety is the ways and means of avoiding or minimizing risk, danger and or injuries of
self and others.

Types of safety
There are two main types of safety, Personal safety and
general safety
Personal safety

Personal safety is the minimization of risk


on one's personal life from harm.
General safety

Safety precautions taken to protect ones and


others lives
Gloves

• Gloves are objects use to aid in the


minimization of harm done to the
hands-arms. Gloves protects the use
from electricity, heat/cold, friction, and
sharp objects.

Types of gloves
Gloves differentiate by their material.
These are: Nitrile, Chloronite,
Latex, Vinyl, Butyl Rubber and
Neoprene
Safety vest

• A safety vest increases the users


visibility at night, in low, moderate, or
heavy traffic. Wearing this less likens the
chances of accident mainly surrounding
motor vehicular accidents

The safety vest differ by the
conditions of working and the
amount of trafic. Class 1 is less
visable than class three which is
more vissable
Safety goggles and glasses protects
Safety glasses and its users from Debris , fume and dust
in the air.

and vison damaging lights while welding

hazardous atmosphere

etc.

• This gear protects its user from
