Julie Johnson

I make an honest commitment to myself, my

professor, and the students in the class to apply
knowledge I gain to prevent child maltreatment and
. advocate for the welfare and protection of children.
I aspire to motivate, encourage, and support fellow
classmates as we learn about the practice of child
welfare.

My work in the Child Welfare Practice class is to honor my

three kids (Jordan, Rebekah, and Matthew), my
grandbabies (Peachy and Punkin), MB who was one of my
students fifteen years ago that still texts to thank me for
helping him with his trauma, and SS who bravely pushes
through every day with a contagious smile and kindness.
