• A Curriculum Resource Guide for the Tahderiyyah teachers crafted
by the SP and validated by the TAP.

Material/s:playdough (if you do not have a playdough, you


may make it with the children by just having flour, water,
salt, cream of tartar, oil, parchment paper, and food
coloring)

•Ask the children to form Al-Khaliq using the playdough.
Explain to the children who is Al-Khaliq and some of the
things he made including us.
After this activity, ask the children go to the washing area to
wash their hands.
How to Make Playdough
COOKED PLAYDOUGH

Ingredients: Flour, water, salt, cream of


tartar, oil, parchment paper, and food
coloring

Procedure:
1Mix 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of water, ½ cup
of salt, 2 tablespoons of cream of tartar,
and 1 tablespoon of oil in a saucepan and
cook until the concoction achieves a
smooth texture.
2Turn out onto parchment paper and knead in
food coloring.

UNCOOKED PLAY DOUGH


How to Make Playdough
Procedure:
1Mix dry ingredients together.
2Add water until you get a nice
consistency for molding.
3Add oil.
4Store in airtight container.

Variations: Give each child a small ball


and tell them to make a hole in it with
their finger. Squirt a drop of food
coloring into the hole and then let the
child squeeze it to mix the color.

•Hide the precut shapes in the different parts of


the classroom (under the tables, under the chairs,

board.

•Call the children one by one and ask to get one
from the board.
•Ask them what shape are they holding.
•Let them put it on the column where they belong.

scissors, string, hangers
What to do:

•Give guidelines on how to use the scissors.


1.Do not play with it (and ask them why).
2.Hold the scissors with thumb on one whole and other
fingers on the other hole.
•Help the children draw and cut out simple geometric shapes –
circles, squares, rectangles, and triangles.
•Cut two exactly the same of each shape.
•Cut a slit to the center of each one and join them at right
angles (use the adhesive tape to hold them in place).
•Attach the string with the use of adhesive tape, too.
•Tie the other end of the string to the hanger.

Objectives:
After the learning experience, the pupils are expected

Run without falling down.
Jump up to 3 feet;
Materilas:
Five obstacles of varied heights (ranging from one feet
to two feet)
Procedure:
Build the obstacles on the play ground, one after the
other.
Let these obstacles form a line.
Let the children form a line.
Ask them to run through the obstacles.
Assist them in jumping. Make sure that they will be
able to avoid accidents. If a child is afraid, do not force
him/her.

A place for performing wudhu
A pail of water
Dipper

Procedure:
Let the children form a line.
Bring them to an ablution area.
Perform the ablution first, showing them the proper
sequence carefully.
Let them perform ablution individually. Check their
performance for possible improvement.
Emphasize the value of performing wudhu even if one
isn’t about to pray.
