Communication is simply the act
of transferring information from
one place, person or group to
another.

Communication
Communication is SYSTEMATIC
• Communication is a systematic process to create and to
interpret the meaning. The process is involved how sender and
receiver encode and decode the message.

Examples:
• conventionalized signs
• conventionalized sounds
• conventionalized gestures
• marks having understood meanings
Communication is PROCESS
• Creative,
continuing condition in life, a process
that changes as the communication
environment changes.

Examples:
• Family Reunions
• Birthday Parties
• Business Meetings
Communication is SYMBOLIC
• Communication that involves a shared message between
the sender and the receiver. It is Action through symbol,
verbal or not-verbal are the basis of the language.

Examples:
• Speech
• sign language
• writing (print or braille)
• picture communication systems
