HOW DOES IT WORK?

►In Spanish, the past perfect tense is formed by using the

imperfect tense of the auxiliary verb "haber" with the past
participle. Haber is conjugated as follows:
►había
habías
había
habíamos
habíais
habían
 The past perfect tense
Look at this sentence .
I had eaten my breakfast
before I went to school.
How is the past perfect
formed?
Had + un verbo en pasado
participio y luego un sujeto y
un verbo en pasado
Ali had played football before he
went back home.
 Look at this example.

After he had taken his

music lesson,
he made a telephone call.
 What had Ali done before he
went fishing?

Ali had repaired

his car,
before he went fishing.
 La llave para entender es : después de la palabra after y as
soon as vendrá un pasado perfecto

After she had eaten her food, she went to the park.
As soon as she had eaten her food, she went the park.
La clave es : cuando va la palabra before o by the time ,
debe seguir un tiempo verbal en pasado
