An urban area, also known as a built-up
area, is a human community with a high
population density and built-environment
infrastructure. Urban areas are formed by
urbanization and are classified as cities,
towns, conurbations, or suburbs by urban
morphology.
One of the main problem in urban
communities are food.
In the future, agriculture will be challenged
to meet the demand of a population that is
projected to grow and to urbanize. This
implies that more food will be demanded by
a population of net food buyers
Because of how compact the areas
in urban cities and towns are.
How can we make food inside rural

umbrella term for "the process of growing
plants of all types and varieties in an urban

including container gardening, indoor
gardening, community gardening, and even
"guerilla gardening,".
Examples of Urban Gardening are:

Forest gardening
Rooftop gardens

tops of buildings. Rooftop agriculture can
have many benefits. For example, it can
reduce the extreme heat in the city during

Well…… Isn't it
obvious?
If you don’t now yet, the roof is the part of the
house that mostly get more sunlight.
And all plants require light for photosynthesis,
the process within a plant that converts light,
oxygen and water into energy. Energy needed by
the plant to grow.
That’s why in my opinion,
Rooftop gardening is the
best method of urban
gardening.
