CLINICAL SIGNS AND
SYMPTOM
• Deeply comatose

• Weak pupillary response

• BP:60/32 mmHg

• Puls :68 Beat/min

• Slow & Shallow respiration

 Treatment was instituted with
• Gastric lavage.
• Intubation.
• Metaramenol bitartrate.
• Diueresis...
• Iv fluids.....
• Hemodialysis...
• Phenytoin& diazepam.

fever, depression, ulcers in mouth or

throat, bruising,confusion,tachycardia,
respiratory,depression,edema,dizziness
headache, double vision, clumsiness,
constipation, unusual weakness

• Conclusion
Like we said Methyprylon is a sedative of
the piperidinedione derivative family that
was previously used for the treatment of
insomnia, However, with the introduction
of newer drugs with fewer side effects,
such as benzodiazepines, the clinical use
of methyprylon is now limited, however
If you overdosed in any case be sure to

soon as possible.
