English Critic

• 1. Each thesis group from all Academic Departments shall be assigned one
English Critic by the DRDI from the Languages or ED-PSY-COMM Department;

• 2. The English Critic shall be responsible for checking and editing the thesis
manuscript of the students;

• 3. The content of the thesis manuscript shall not be the responsibility of the
English Critic to check and edit. However, they can give suggestions to the
students or raise the concern to the Research Officer;

• 4. The English Critic shall set aside time for the consultation with the
students. They shall submit their consultation hours to the DRDI and shall
make it known to the thesis groups assigned to them;

• 5. The English Critic shall make his/her rules clear to the thesis
groups assigned to him/her so as to avoid conflicts and missed
deadlines;

• 6. The English Critic shall only begin his/her professional


relationship with his/her assigned thesis groups upon receiving a
request letter and signing of the proof of acceptance.;

• 7. The English Critic shall finish a manuscript in seven (7) or less


working days upon the receipt of the manuscript; 8. English Critics
shall only be paid upon the completion of their tasks and the
submission of the consultation forms and signed certificates.
