TradeMarks, Patents, and copyright


Copyright is an automatic right which protects original literary, dramatic, musical and
artistic works. A Patent is a registered right that gives the owner exclusive right to
features and processes of inventions. A Trade Mark protects logos and signs that are
used in relation to a particular type of product or service.

Copyright is a right which protects your work, and if you get caught you can get sued.
A patent is a right that gives the person right to features on processes of inventions;
no one can copy them.
A trade mark protects logos and signs. Like Mcdonalds; no fast food sign can copy
mcdonalds
An AUP is an agreement between the student and the
district designed to keep students safe online
