in a given area of research. • It outlines the description of the issue(s), includes a vision, suggests the method(s) used to solve the problem, and provides a hypothesis. • It also gives the negative points of the current situation in the area of the research, explains why these matter, and then proposes how the project at hand aims to solve it. • Usually while writing the problem statement, researchers use the 5 “W”s (Who, What, Where, When, and Why)
