Competency 9.1

•9.1 Select and use appropriate methods for evaluation of

outcomes.
Relevant Activities or Tasks

•Student will assess the case and findings to ensure the

appropriate case decision was made.

•Student will consult with field supervisor to ensure the case

decision was appropriate.
Outcomes

• I reviewed cases that I worked on with my field supervisor to go

over the findings and case decisions and discuss if the
appropriate case decisions were made.
Competency 9.2

• 9.2 Apply knowledge of human behavior and the social

environment, person-in-environment, and other
multidisciplinary theoretical frameworks in the evaluation of
outcomes.
Relevant Activities or Tasks

• Student will address the importance of environments and

theoretical frameworks and how they relate to clients and their
outcomes.
Outcomes

• Currently and ongoing, when reviewing and determining case

decisions, it is critical to remember and apply knowledge of
human behavior and the social environment, person-in-
environment, and other multidisciplinary theoretical
frameworks when evaluating how they affect the client’s
outcome.
Competency 9.3

• 9.3 Critically analyze, monitor, and evaluate intervention and

program processes and outcomes.
Relevant Activities or Tasks

•Student will effectively and critically analyze, monitor, and

assess the intervention which was in place for the client.

•Student will apply critical thinking to ensure the intervention

was utilized effectively.
Outcomes

•When evaluating intervention and program processes and

outcomes, I critically monitored and assessed the intervention
put in place for the client to ensure the intervention was utilized
effectively and did so with supervisor from my field supervisor.
Competency 9.4

• 9.4 Apply evaluation findings to improve practice effectiveness

at the micro, mezzo, and macro levels.
Relevant Activities or Tasks

•Student agrees to work at the micro, mezzo, and macro levels of

social work to improve practice effectiveness.

•Student will also work to provide resources to families, engage in

social work practice with individuals and families, and actively
witnessing how the community and community resources affect
individuals.
Outcomes

• Using the information gained from my field placement

experiences, including evaluation findings, I will continue to
work to improve practice effectiveness at the micro, mezzo, and
macro levels. Additionally, I plan to continue working to provide
educational resources to families and engage with the
community to find out how community resources or lack thereof
affect individuals and how I can use my platform for better
change.
