Proposed Standard

Sequence of Works
Planning Department

The construction works is divided by eight (8) major scope of works; Structural
Works, Wet Works, Building Envelope and Façade Works, Dry Works, Architectural
Works, Specialty Works, Testing and Commissioning and Readiness and Handover.
These major items are conceptualized during the One Rockwell Project and up to
now it is being used by the Planning Department as a standard format in preparing a
schedule.

STANDARD CONSTRUCTION FLOW CHART:

DATEM Rockwell Project Team comes up with the flow chart that can easily manage and categorize in
its activities.
Proposed Standard Sequence of
Works
The construction eight major scopes of works are can easily distinguish through its activities; in this chapter our objective is to breakdown and detailed the activities per
scope of works. This is for planning engineers’ guideline in preparing a schedule for proper sequencing of works, approximation of duration and understanding on each
coverage rules. Here is the scope of works in chronological orders:

(a) Fabrication, Installation and Assembly works for custom glazing systems, such as Curtain Wall, Storefront, Punched Openings and Window Wall. Along with glazing of
glass, Architectural Glass and Aluminum Contractors installs systems with infills including aluminum panels, composite materials, and natural stone.
