INTRODUCTION
The main purpose to opt Blood Donation Awareness as my CDP is to
motivate people to donate blood and do social works.

Giving blood is a quick and easy way to make a difference in the lives of
others. Every day, patients across the globe rely on blood transfusions
to treat a variety of medical conditions. From cancer and heart disease
to blood disorders and traumas, donated blood can provide a much-
needed lifeline for healthy individuals donating blood is a way to give
back to the community.

There are several reasons why people choose to donate blood. For
some, it is a way to show affection to a loved one who has received a
blood transfusion. For others, it’s a way to give back to the community.
And for many, it’s simply a way to help save a life.
Problem Identification

Blood donation rates are declining, and the demand for blood is
increasing. One reason for the decline in donations is that people are
becoming more hesitant to donate blood.

The decline in blood donation is a serious problem that needs to

be addressed. If more people are not willing to donate blood ,then
It will become increasingly difficult to save lives.
Cause of the problem:
• Worried about contracting diseases, such as HIV, or simply be uncomfortable
with the idea of giving blood, becoming increasingly difficult for blood banks
to meet the demand for blood.

• Another reason is fewer blood. For example, people with certain medical
conditions, are not allowed to donate means that there is a smaller pool of
potential donors to choose from.

• Another problem is Hemolytic Anemia, which is caused by the destruction of

red blood cells. This can happen if the blood donor has an incompatible blood
type, or if the donor's blood is exposed to a foreign substance.
Objective to be achieved:

To spread awareness among the people regarding BLOOD

DONATION.
Raising awareness of the necessity of safe transfusion of blood.
Motivating and encouraging people who are not interested in donating blood
in
spite of being a healthy person.

Thanking blood donors throughout the world and addressing the need for
frequent unpaid donations.

Educating the community on the beneficial aspects of blood donations .

Encouraging youth to donate blood and inspiring others to do the same.

Various Steps taken to achieve the objectives:

There are a number of steps that can be taken to spread awareness for blood
donation.

One is to partner with blood banks , hospitals or any local NGO’s to host blood
drives. I took the decision to work with Vairamani Foundation as a volunteer.

Another way to spread awareness is to talk to community groups about the

importance of blood donation. This can be done by giving a presentation or by
distributing information pamphlets, making posters.

Finally, social media can be used to reach a wide audience with information about
blood donation. By taking these steps, we can help make sure that everyone who
needs blood will have access to it.
ABOUT THE ORGANISATION:

• Vairamani is a Non-Government Organization, that looks after the welfare of people and
helps them in the fields of Healthcare, Medical and education, providing help to those in
need, in whatever way possible and thus helping countless peoples, who are deprived of
basic amenities. Vairamani believes in social welfare of animals too, and hence we take
steps to ensure welfare of stray animals and animals in need.

• What makes us unique is that, we don’t rely on the funding of government but instead we
incline ourselves towards donations made by others.

• Vairamani believes in social wellbeing of Humans and animals in all the sectors, including

brings positiveness and more…
