• To design a machine which only purpose is boring so that time can be

saved for manufacturing.
• Previously it is done on Berardi machine.
• In Berardi many complex machining can be done But majority of time it is
being used by bushes as they are bulk in order.

• Berardi is a CNC horizontal milling machine. It can be used for

various different processes like drilling,boring,milling.

• The central axis of spindle of machine and the central axis of bush
are coincided and spindle moves horizontally and made cut.

• Found a motor with 10HP and 880rpm and gearbox of reduction ratio
of 60.
• Finding guideways: RG series of Hiwin company.
They offer high precision and high load
capacities
than traditional ball bearing linear guideays.
• Finding ball screw: Rolled ball screw of Hiwin company.
They are low in cost and provide smooth
movement.
