Wastewater and SWM of Guadalupe River held last Feb. ‘05

Objective: to inform and improve the understanding of


stakeholders on how to properly manage wastewaters and
solid wastes in Guadalupe River

- city officials
- barangay officials
- NGOs (local and international)
- reps from govt agencies (DENR, NEDA, etc.),
- Balang Kapuna HOA reps and
- UNESCAP rep;

3. Formation and functionalization of Guadalupe Bantay-Sapa
/inter-barangay monitoring team

6. Appropriate technologies: STP, MRF/3Rs, drainage networks
7. Eco-Park pilot projects
8. Baseline data: biological, inventory of residents/ structures,
social acceptability of appropriate technologies

6. Barangay resource management enterprises: eco-tourism, solid
waste recycling/ composting
7. Relocation of residents within 3-meters easements
8. Expansion of eco-park into other barangays
