GOAL STATEMENT

Due to lack of adherence to good hand hygiene


procedures, diarrhoea cases are increasing at
Presbyterian Basic School. If your office provides
hand hygiene facilities and ensures their effective
use by both teachers and students, diarrhoea
incidence can be addressed.

POST EVALUATION INTERVENTION

• After 2 weeks, we will visit the school to observe if hand


hygiene facilities (i.e. veronica buckets, soaps, sanitizers
etc.) are available and effectively utilized

• Observe that both students and teachers practice hand


hygiene before eating, after eating, after visiting the wash
room and after playing

POST EVALUATION INTERVENTION

• Will observe an increase in the number of children


washing hands after playing during break times to at least
90%

• We will review the health records, to know whether the


number of students from your school reporting to the
health facility with diarrhea has reduced to at least 70%.
