kelompok, yaitu :
1. Protista mirip hewan
(Protozoa)
2. Protista mirip tumbuhan
(Alga)
3. Protista mirip jamur

1)Uniseluler
2)Eukariotik
3)Ukurannya antara 3 – 1000 mikron (mikroskopis)
4)bersifat heterotrof
5)Hidup di tempat yang basah yang kaya zat organik, air
tawar atau air laut sebagai zooplakton, beberapa jenis
bersifat parasit
6)memiliki alat gerak yaitu ada yang berupa kaki semu, bulu
getar (cillia) atau bulu cambak (flagel)
7)Bereproduksi dengan membelah diri
8)Membentuk kista pada keadaan yang tidak
menguntungkan
