Flag of Cambodia

+ Cambodia flag was originally adopted


in 1948 and readopted in 1993 after the
constituent Assembly elections in 1993
and restoration of the Cambodia
monarchy.
+ The flag have three colors of red ,white
and blue. The three horizontal bands of
blue and red (double width) and blue,
with a depiction of Angkor Wat in white
centered on the red band.

November when the countryside is lush and green and the dry season from last
November to April when there are long day of glorious sunshine and clear skies.

2. History with ASEN
+ ASEAN was established on 8 August 1967 in Bangkok by the
five original member countries: Indonesia, Malaysia,
Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. Brunei Darussalam
joined on 8 January 1984, Vietnam on 28 July 1995, Laos and
Myanmar on 23 July 1997 , and Cambodia on 30 April 1999.

+ In April 1999, Cambodia was eventually got admitted to be


the 10th member of ASEAN, following the deferral in 1997
due to internal political crisis and after years of being this
regional grouping's observer.

+ Cambodia was the last member of ASEAN.

• +The politics of Cambodia are defined within the
framework of a constitutional monarchy , in which
the King serves as the head of the state , and the
prime minister is the head of the government.

• Born on 14 May 1953. He became


King on 14 October 2004, a week
after the abdication of his father,

ambassador in Europe and as a
classical dance instructor.

• Born on 5 August 1952. He served from


1985 to 1993 and was second prime
minister from 1993 to 1998. Elected as
prime minister in his own right in 1998, he is
the longest serving prime minister in
Cambodian history.

August 1967.

strong, prosperous and rules-based ASEAN.

also conservative. While people are eager to
save face and avoid confrontations, there
are a few ordinary western habits that can
be liable to cause offenses.

• - Thai cuisine is the national cuisine of Thailand.
Thai cooking places emphasis on lightly
prepared dishes with strong aromatic
components and a spicy edge.

• - The basic rule is to cover your shoulders and
knees (both sexes), and ideally, you'd cover your
ankles too. On the bottom, wear longer shorts,
capris, pants/trousers or a knee-length-or-
longer skirt. On top, choose any shirt that fully
covers your shoulders. A T-shirt, blouse or polo
is fine, while a tank top is not.

create characters mostly representing syllables.
