Watertrap
- Water traps should be at the lowest point of the
limb. Humidifier
- Humidifier should be in inspiratory limb.
- Nebulizer should be in the inspiratory limb, best
45cm away from patient.
- Keep the nebulizer vertical.

After altitude is updated,
user flow calibration
should be done.
(P-A/C)
Steps
1. Make sure that the supply pressure is
normal and that the breathing circuit are
correctly connected.
2. Connect a 2L bag as the test lung to the Y
piece in the patient circuit.
Pass Criteria
• The difference between the TVi
reading and set value does not
exceed 10ml + 10% setting value
Example
• If you set TV=600ml.
• Max accepted tolerance will be
10+600*10%=70ml, i.e. acceptable
measured TVi is 530~670ml.
Steps
1. Make sure that the supply pressure is
normal and that the breathing circuit are
correctly connected.
2. Connect a 2L bag as the test lung to the Y
piece in the patient circuit.

3. Select P-A/C as the ventilation mode. 6

values in each setting stabilized status.

Example:
− If you set △Pinsp=15cmH2O, PEEP=5cmH2O.
Do not use antistatic or conductive masks or breathing hoses. They can cause
burns if working with high frequency electrosurgical equipment.
Re-do system check each time when accessories or components like hose,
humidifier, and filter are replaced.
Humidifier connector must be lower than the ventilator’s breathing connectors and
the patient.
To reduce the risk of fire, do not use a low-pressure O2 supply that delivers a flow
greater than 15L/min.

During the inspiration phase, when the delivered volume exceeds the
upper alarm limit of tidal volume, the system switches to expiratory
phase immediately and airway pressure is fully released.
End users are most familiar with, and used most often. All of them support
synchronous trigger or spontaneous breath.
V-A/C
• In this mode, mechanical ventilation is synchronous
P-A/C with patient spontaneous effort. It can improve man-
machine coordination, reduce sedative and muscular
relaxants consumption, expedite weaning process.
PEEPi O2 Therapy
---Inspiratory valve is closed, and flow turns to zero. Then there is no airway resistance. At
this moment, Pplat is generated by lung capacity and compliance
Function
1. Optimize parameters with the
measurement of Cstat;
2. Improve ventilation efficiency;
3. Ensure patient safety.
--- Expiratory valve closed. Flow is zero and pressure in the lung and ventilator
circuit equilibrate. The static airway pressure represents total PEEP.

inflection point
There are clinical evidence proven that if the PEEP value is set at
LIP+2cmH2O, it will significant reduce the mortality rate of ARDS patients
